The production-ready Dacia Bigster, based on the Renault Duster, will debut at the Paris Motor Show next month. It’s a larger, seven-seater version of the Duster, offering more space and premium features for both adventure lovers and families. The Bigster aims to stand out in the competitive SUV market.
The Bigster retains many features from the Duster, such as its mechanics, platform, and parts of the interior. However, it is 300mm longer than the Duster and measures about 4.6 meters in length. It also has a longer wheelbase and bigger rear doors for easier access.
The Renault Bigster will have the same engine options as the Duster, including a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. It will come in 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, though the full 4×4 system won’t be available. Instead, it will offer terrain modes like Mud/Sand, Auto, Snow, Eco, and Off-road to handle various driving conditions.
