Mini has launched the all-electric John Cooper Works (JCW) versions of its new Aceman and Cooper models, making it the brand's first-ever high-performance EVs.

The new Mini models combine electric power with the brand’s fun-to-drive spirit. The traditional ‘Hatch’ name is dropped, with the three-door now called ‘Cooper.’ The high-performance versions are named the Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Mini John Cooper Works Aceman. Despite the confusing names, Mini's unique style is unchanged.
Both the JCW Aceman and JCW Electric share the same electric powertrain with 254 bhp and 251 lb-ft of torque, powering the front wheels. The hatchback reaches 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds, while the Aceman takes 6.4 seconds.

Both models can hit a top speed of 124 mph in ‘Boost’ mode. They come with a 54.2 kWh battery, offering 243 miles for the Aceman and 251 miles for the JCW Electric. With 95 kW rapid charging, they can charge from 10-80% in under 30 minutes. Though not ideal for long trips, they are perfect for city driving.

The electric JCWs keep the brand’s signature ‘go-kart handling’ with performance-focused suspension. The Aceman has 19-inch wheels, while the JCW Electric gets 18-inch ones. Both feature bold rear wings and sporty body kits, with a red roof and brake calipers to emphasize their performance.
Inside, the cars combine modern tech with a classic sporty design, featuring a red and black color scheme. Sporty front seats provide support during spirited driving, while an OLED touchscreen controls vehicle settings and infotainment.

The all-electric Mini John Cooper Works models were revealed at the Paris Motor Show, exciting eco-friendly drivers and car fans.
