The Renault 4 E-Tech is a modern take on the classic 4L, paying homage to its golden era. It was unveiled at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, reimagining the iconic model.

The 4 E-Tech combines modern technology with classic design, appealing to both tech lovers and vintage fans. It keeps the original's spirit while improving efficiency and performance.

The Renault 4 E-Tech keeps the original 4L look with its vertical grille, flat bonnet, and round headlights, but adds modern touches like illuminated accents and a polycarbonate grille. It’s taller and longer, giving it a more rugged look. The canvas roof can be controlled by Renault's virtual assistant ‘Reno.’

Inside, the Renault 4 offers great functionality and customization. The Techno version has a jeans-themed interior, reflecting the original 4’s versatility. It features a dual-screen setup with a 10-inch multimedia screen and a 7-inch digital display, plus ChatGPT and Google services for over 200 queries.

The Renault 4 offers a flexible interior with adjustable seating for more cargo space and legroom. Its 420-liter modular boot adds to its practicality. Renault says there are 670 possible combinations of trims, stitching, and colors, making customization options surprisingly high for this model.

The car also features Level 2 ADAS and up to 26 driver aids, providing modern safety while maintaining its classic charm. Its durable design and strong chassis make it perfect for both adventurous and city driving.

The 4 E-Tech is built on the same AmpR platform as the Renault 5. It offers two battery options: a 52 kWh battery with a 250-mile range and 150 bhp, or a 40 kWh battery with a 186-mile range and 120 bhp.

Both versions offer V2L/V2G charging for convenience on long drives and city commutes. The car weighs 1,410 kg and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 8.5 seconds with the bigger motor.

There is no information yet on the Renault 4’s launch in the UAE, but with the region's growing interest in electric cars and new designs, it may be introduced soon.
