The successor to the Lamborghini Huracán is set to make its highly anticipated debut in August.
The new model will feature a powerful twin-turbo V8 engine, promising impressive performance.
Lamborghini continues its legacy of merging cutting-edge technology with its iconic heritage in this upcoming release.
Lamborghini has unveiled the powertrain specifications for the upcoming successor to the Huracan, internally known as 634. It boasts a twin-turbo V8 engine with a redline of 10,000 rpm, inspired by Sant'Agata's SC63 Le Mans Hypercar. This engine, now upgraded to a 4.0-liter capacity from the original 3.8-liter, is expected to deliver improved performance.
The Lamborghini Huracan's next model will boast a combustion engine producing 800 horsepower and 730 Newton-meters of torque, surpassing the STO variant. Its 10,000 rpm redline puts it in league with top-tier models like the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Mercedes-AMG One, known for their high-revving capabilities.

The engine is paired with a hybrid system akin to the Revuelto. Alongside the V8, there's a 147-horsepower electric motor producing 221 pound-feet of torque. Positioned between the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and the engine, this configuration, shared with the Revuelto, features an axial-flux motor adopted by Ferrari and McLaren.
The forthcoming supercar shares a resemblance with the flagship Revuelto. It features a unique silhouette inspired by the design philosophy of Mitja Borkert. Iconic Lamborghini elements like the Y-shaped LED lights and hexagonal exhaust will be key design features.
The car will keep the Revuelto's carbon-fiber monocoque known as the 'mono fuselage', while also incorporating aluminum parts for cost efficiency. To differentiate it from the 4,947-mm-long Revuelto, the length of the new model will be reduced.
The eagerly awaited follow-up to the Lamborghini Huracán is set to premiere in August. Featuring a twin-turbo V8 engine, it represents Lamborghini's blend of cutting-edge technology and rich legacy.
The upcoming Lamborghini Huracán successor, slated for an August debut, promises to uphold the brand's tradition of blending innovative technology with its iconic heritage, featuring a twin-turbo V8 engine.
