Mercedes-Benz will add two major electric models to its lineup in 2026. CEO Ola Källenius announced that all-electric versions of the GLC-Class SUV and C-Class sedan will be introduced in 2026, with North American versions set to launch in 2027.
Mercedes-Benz's new all-electric models will be part of the ‘core luxury’ segment, along with the E-Class and CLE-Class.
The entry-level electric lineup will feature the GLA and GLB SUVs and CLA coupe sedans, all based on the new MMA platform. Originally, there were plans for two versions of the platform: MB.EA Large and MB.EA Small. Due to cost-cutting and a drop in EV sales, the development of MB.EA Large has been stopped, but MB.EA Small is still in progress.

The new CLA is set to launch in 2025, and its advanced technology will likely lead to a slight price increase. Mercedes also plans to boost the share of its top-end luxury cars, like the G-Class and AMG models, by 60% globally.
