Carlex Design has revealed its one-off G-Stallion in Abu Dhabi, based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and priced at AED 13 million. The world premiere marks Carlex’s expanding presence in the Middle East, following the opening of its Dubai showroom in January 2026. The G-Stallion is a unique creation, with Carlex confirming it will remain a one-of-one vehicle.
The Carlex G-Stallion draws inspiration from Pogrom, an Arabian stallion from Poland’s Janów Podlaski Stud. Artisans spent about two months shaping the roof form by hand, using flat aluminum, traditional tools, and wooden bucks. The vehicle features a patented diamond-dust finishing process, which alters its appearance depending on light and viewing angle. Carlex’s approach combines modern vehicle technology with a vintage-inspired aesthetic.
MENA CEO Constantinos Zertalis emphasized the exclusivity of the G-Stallion, stating it is the only one that will ever be produced. The model targets collectors in the Middle East, a region identified as significant for bespoke luxury vehicles. Carlex notes that the G-Class is among its most requested models from clients in this region.
Alongside the G-Stallion, Carlex also presented the Safari Grande Royal, a luxury expedition-focused G-Class. This model is limited to 25 units worldwide and is priced at AED 4.7 million. The Safari Grande Royal features high-end Italian leather and natural crocodile-skin details. Its travel equipment includes a four-person tent, director’s chairs, and an integrated parasol, emphasizing its expedition-ready design.
Carlex’s Dubai showroom, opened in January 2026, aims to serve clients and collectors across the UAE and the broader Middle East. The launch of the G-Stallion and Safari Grande Royal highlights the Gulf region’s importance to the market for personalized luxury SUVs. These models position Carlex’s G-Class conversions as commissioned collector pieces, distinct from conventional modified SUVs.
The AED 13 million price tag places the G-Stallion at the upper end of the bespoke G-Class market. The diamond-dusted finish and handcrafted details further distinguish it from standard factory models. Carlex’s focus on craftsmanship and exclusivity aligns with the preferences of Middle Eastern collectors seeking unique, high-value vehicles. The company’s ongoing expansion in the region underscores the growing demand for personalized luxury SUVs.
