The upcoming electric GT will debut in December 2024 and feature a range of over 700 km, a 580 hp dual-motor setup, and ultra-fast charging.
The new EVs will introduce minimalist front ends, nearly invisible LED lights, long bonnets, and a new grille motif, with a redesigned but still present cat emblem.
The GT will launch in the US, but Jaguar will end production of the I-Pace and E-Pace by year-end, with only the F-Pace continuing until 2025.
Deliveries of the new electric GT will start in 2026, leaving some markets needing new Jaguar models in the interim.
The move to an all-electric lineup responds to market trends, and competitors like Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Audi are adjusting their strategies due to the low demand for premium EVs.
Jaguar is sticking to its plan to go all-electric next year, despite the global slowdown in demand for electric vehicles.
As Jaguar wraps up its current global models, it's getting ready to unveil a new concept car in December. This concept will give a glimpse into the future technology and design of Jaguar's upcoming EVs.
Jaguar's next generation of EVs will be a complete departure from its previous models, with new technical specs, visual design, and market positioning. The British automaker says these electric vehicles will be entirely different, reflecting a fresh and innovative approach that sets them apart from the old lineup. When asked about the design of the future models, Jaguar highlighted that they will be original and "a copy of nothing."
The four-door GT concept, set to debut in December, will preview future Jaguar models with a range of over 700 km, a price around GBP 100,000 (AED 473,747), a 580 hp dual-motor setup, and ultra-fast charging. It will also give a glimpse of the design for upcoming limousines and SUVs expected by 2028.

Jaguar’s managing director, Rawdon Glover, said that the new EV designs will break away from the typical look of electric cars, which often appear similar due to wind tunnel testing. The upcoming models will feature sleek front ends, subtle LED lights, long hoods, and a new grille design. Glover also mentioned that while the cat emblem will be redesigned, it will still remain a key part of Jaguar's brand identity.
The GT will debut in the US, highlighting its importance to Jaguar, though the brand remains proud of its British heritage.
Jaguar's move to an all-electric lineup is driven by competitors like Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Audi adjusting their strategies in response to low demand for premium EVs. Production of the I-Pace and E-Pace will end by the end of the year, with only the F-Pace continuing until 2025.
Global deliveries of the new electric GT will begin in 2026, which means some markets will be without new Jaguars for a while.
Jaguar's transition to an all-electric lineup marks a bold step toward the future, with the upcoming GT leading the charge. While this shift will temporarily leave some markets without new Jaguar models, the brand's commitment to innovation and redefining electric vehicle design signals an exciting new era. As Jaguar embraces this transformation, the anticipation for its next generation of vehicles continues to build, with global deliveries set to begin in 2026.
