3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with an electrically assisted turbocharger.

Porsche has introduced a groundbreaking addition to its legendary lineup with the debut of the first-ever hybrid 911, the Carrera GTS T-Hybrid. This pioneering model represents a major milestone for the German automaker. As expected, Porsche has utilized the electric powertrain to produce the most powerful 911 to date.

Unlike many hybrids that provide electric-only driving modes, the 911 Carrera GTS uses a distinctive "T-Hybrid" system aimed at boosting performance. This lightweight hybrid configuration includes several essential components:
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS features a new 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, an upgrade from the previous model's 3.0-liter engine. This new engine generates 53 more horsepower than the older GTS, bringing the total to 478 hp. Unlike the previous twin-turbo configuration, the new engine employs a single, electrically assisted turbocharger.
The combined output of this system is an impressive 541 hp and 610 Nm of torque. This allows for a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/h. According to Porsche, the new GTS completed a lap of the challenging Nürburgring Nordschleife 8.7 seconds faster than its predecessor. The T-Hybrid system offers remarkable performance while keeping weight gain to a minimum compared to plug-in hybrids, with only a 50 kg increase over the previous model.

The new 911 Carrera GTS maintains the iconic 911 silhouette while introducing modern updates. The front now features new LED matrix headlights, replacing the horizontal fog lights, and the rear sports a new light bar with integrated Porsche badging. Aerodynamics are enhanced with adjustable air flaps in the front bumper and under the car for optimal cooling and downforce.
The Porsche Driver Experience control concept emphasizes easy access to key controls for the driver, including the driving mode switch, updated driver assistance features, and a new start button on the steering wheel.
Fully Digital Instrument Cluster:

For the first time in a 911, a 12.6-inch customizable cluster is available, offering up to seven different views, including a classic option reminiscent of traditional Porsche gauges.
Improved Central Display:
The 10.9-inch high-resolution touchscreen retains the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system, now with enhanced driving mode customization and more intuitive control of driver assistance features.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS represents a significant milestone for the iconic sports car, showcasing Porsche's ability to integrate advanced technologies like hybrid systems while maintaining the core principles of performance and driving dynamics.
The Porsche 911 hybrid is scheduled for launch later this year in the USA and Europe. The 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid coupe is anticipated to have a price of approximately USD 167,000 (AED 615,000). The hybrid 911 is expected to debut in the UAE in the first half of 2025.
The introduction of the first-ever Porsche 911 hybrid, the Carrera GTS T-Hybrid, signifies a major milestone for the iconic sports car. This innovative model combines cutting-edge hybrid technology with Porsche’s renowned performance, offering impressive power and efficiency.
With its enhanced design, advanced driver-focused controls, and anticipated global launch, the 911 hybrid showcases Porsche’s commitment to evolving while maintaining its legacy of driving excellence.
