Castle Bromwich plant to focus on body panel manufacturing for the entire Jaguar lineup.
Halewood and Solihull plants will prioritize electric vehicle production.
The strategic shift reflects Jaguar's commitment to electrification and production diversification.
Jaguar has ended production of the F-Type, XE, and XF models, signaling the conclusion of its flagship sports car and saloon lineup. This move aligns with the brand's goal to transition entirely to electric vehicles by 2025. During this transition period, the E-Pace, F-Pace, and I-Pace will be the brand's only available models.
Jaguar's factory ceased production of the ICE-powered F-Type sports car, XF large sedan, and XE sedan on May 22, 2024. These models, which lacked electric or hybrid options, mark the end of Jaguar's lineup solely reliant on internal combustion engines. While the XF and XE briefly offered mild-hybrid variants, these did not offer electric drive to the wheels.
The I-Pace is anticipated to be the final model to cease production, with its discontinuation expected early next year.

In 2025, Jaguar intends to unveil high-performance Battery Electric Vehicles as a component of its 'Reimagine' strategy, shifting towards electrification. Beginning in 2025, the company will solely provide electrified vehicles, with plans to introduce nine new premium models by 2030, targeting consumers in the Porsche and Bentley market segments.
Jaguar's UK Castle Bromwich plant, currently producing the F-Type, XE, and XF sedans, will transition in the coming months to manufacturing body panels for the entire Jaguar model range. Additionally, the automaker plans to revamp its Halewood UK and Solihull plants to focus on producing electric vehicles.
Jaguar is undergoing a significant transformation in its manufacturing operations in the UK. The Castle Bromwich plant, known for producing the F-Type, XE, and XF sedans, will shift its focus to manufacturing body panels for the entire Jaguar lineup. Concurrently, the Halewood and Solihull plants will undergo refurbishments to prioritize the production of electric vehicles. These changes reflect Jaguar's commitment to embracing electrification and aligning its manufacturing capabilities with its future goals.
