While many Western automakers delay their concept car plans, Chinese brand Chery continues to innovate. They recently unveiled the Hunting Wild concept, which combines minivan and wagon designs. It hints at the future of the Fulwin series and features advanced solid-state battery technology.

Chery’s Hunting Wild electric wagon, powered by solid-state batteries, accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. It offers a range of up to 1500 km and a top speed of 260 km/h. Solid-state batteries promise faster charging, higher energy density, and the possibility of recharging in just 15 minutes.
The concept features an 800-volt platform, air suspension, four-wheel steering, Level Three autonomous driving, and a color-changing skylight. It uses a 30,000rpm electric motor, suggesting a potential two-wheel drive, though specific performance details are not yet available.

The exterior of the Hunting Wild concept may signal Chery’s new design direction, featuring a sleek silhouette, smooth lines, unique LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, and hidden headlights.
Though Chery hasn’t revealed interior images, the spec list suggests a tech-packed cabin. Key features include AI-powered voice controls, a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, rear seats with reclining and leg rests, and a 23-speaker sound system. A color-changing dome skylight adds to the panoramic roof experience.

The chip in Chery’s Hunting Wild concept controls zoned audio, exterior cameras, AI features, 5G connectivity, and safety systems like drowsiness detection. It also includes an AI voice assistant, a 23-speaker system, tilt-adjustable rear seats, and a fold-flat passenger seat.
The Chery Hunting Wild is expected to launch no earlier than 2026, after which it will compete with models like the Neta S Wagon, Zeekr 001, and Nio ET5T.
The Chery Hunting Wild concept, with its advanced solid-state battery, sleek design, and cutting-edge technology, marks a significant step forward in the electric vehicle market. Featuring impressive performance stats like a 1500 km range and 260 km/h top speed, along with innovative interior features and autonomous capabilities, it sets a high bar for future EVs.
Expected to launch by 2026, it will compete with leading models like the Neta S Wagon, Zeekr 001, and Nio ET5T, showcasing Chery's commitment to shaping the future of electric mobility.
