[ XPeng's newest EV has landed in the UAE ]
XPeng has expanded its electric vehicle lineup in the UAE with the launch of the XPeng P7+, a premium electric fastback combining coupe-inspired styling with family-friendly practicality. The new model is now available for viewing and test drives at XPeng showrooms across the country, with prices starting at AED 164,000.
The P7+ targets UAE buyers looking for a spacious, technology-focused EV with fast charging, premium features and advanced driver-assistance technology.
XPeng calls the P7+ an “Intelligent All-Scenario Fastback.” The model measures approximately 5,071mm long, 1,937mm wide and 1,512mm high, with a 3,000mm wheelbase.
The extended wheelbase is designed to maximise rear-seat legroom and provide a comfortable cabin for families and passengers. Despite its fastback design, the P7+ offers 573 litres of boot space, expanding to 1,931 litres with the rear seats folded.
The wide tailgate also improves practicality when loading luggage, shopping bags and other larger items.
One of the biggest highlights of the XPeng P7+ in the UAE is its 800V electrical architecture.
The vehicle uses an 800V silicon-carbide high-voltage platform supporting 5C ultra-fast charging. XPeng claims the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in around 12 minutes under ideal conditions.
The technology could be particularly useful for UAE drivers making longer journeys between Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other emirates, where faster charging can reduce time spent at charging stations.
Actual charging times can vary depending on charger capacity, battery temperature and operating conditions.
Inside, the P7+ features XPeng's “Cloudscape” cabin design, with Nappa leather upholstery and a microfiber suede headliner.
The company also claims the cabin provides 35 separate storage compartments, adding to its everyday practicality.
The digital experience is powered by XPeng's Tianji XOS software platform, while the vehicle comes equipped with the brand's XPILOT ASSIST driver-assistance system.
According to XPeng, the system includes 14 active safety functions supported by an in-house Turing AI chip. These features are designed to assist the driver and do not make the P7+ a fully autonomous vehicle.
The P7+ arrives around two years after XPeng entered the UAE market in late 2024 with the G6 and G9 electric SUVs through its local partners.
Since then, the Chinese EV manufacturer has expanded its presence in the country and opened a flagship showroom in Abu Dhabi.
XPeng is also preparing to introduce the GX, an extended-range electric SUV expected to officially launch in the UAE in September 2026. The model has been previewed with a claimed combined range of up to 1,240km.
The XPeng P7+ enters an increasingly competitive UAE EV market, where brands including Tesla, BYD, NIO and other Chinese manufacturers are expanding their offerings.
Its combination of 800V charging, large interior space, premium materials and advanced technology gives it several strong selling points.
However, real-world range, charging performance in Gulf temperatures, software reliability and long-term ownership costs will ultimately determine how competitive the P7+ is against established rivals.
