On Wednesday, Magnus revealed in public for the first time during its technology demonstration along the Corniche, accompanied by police and motorcycle outriders. Adding the Eneron Magnus supercharged patrol vehicle significantly strengthens the Abu Dhabi Police patrol fleet.

Eneron, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi-based technology company Kintsugi Holding, builds the Magnus patrol vehicle. It is blast-proof and designed to perform effortlessly in challenging environments. The Eneron Magnus comes mated with an electric motor and diesel engine, delivering an impressive 900 km range. The reinforced suspension setup and central tire inflation system enable the vehicle to navigate various road conditions, including the UAE's tough desert terrains.

The country’s first supercharged car from Eneron gets optional B6 ballistic protection, shielding the cabin, windscreen, and windows from high-velocity ammunition, machine gun fire, and hand grenades. Additionally, it has a fully ventilated cabin environment for occupant protection against contaminated air or chemical attack cases.

Magnus also features 21 cameras for 360-degree vision and is capable of stealth operations with exterior infrared lighting visible only through night vision. For security, the vehicle has a secure cell to monitor individuals' biometrics and vital signs.

There is an option to deploy two drones from the back of the vehicle for surveillance purposes or to locate the suspects from mid-air. The patrol car comes mated with the brand's in-house AI-voice assistant SAM, which helps occupants deploy the drone with voice command efficiently.
While the on-road testing is being done, Magnus has been tested for its off-road capabilities in the Liwa desert. Rashed AL Mohtadi, director of marketing and communication at Kintsugi Holding, stated that the company aims to reveal the civilian version of Eneron Magnus in 2026 and commence production in Abu Dhabi in 2028. The expected price for Magnus can go up to AED 1,000,000.
