Al Futtaim Electric Mobility, the exclusive distributor of BYD cars, has launched the 2025 BYD Seal 07 DM-i plug-in hybrid sedan in the UAE. Being a flagship model in the D-segment, the Seal 07 DM-i offers the perfect blend of cutting-edge design, extended range capability, and advanced technology, all tailored to the needs of UAE car drivers.

BYD’s fourth-generation DM-i platform powers the plug-in hybrid sedan. It uses a 17.6 kWh blade battery with intelligent hybrid power management technology, delivering up to 100 km of pure electric range and a combined drive range of 800 km. The powertrain integrates electric and hybrid power to offer smooth and silent acceleration; it also comes mated with regenerative braking and advanced safety features for maximum occupant comfort.

The all-new BYD Seal 07 DM-i features the Chinese electric car manufacturer’s Ocean Series-inspired design language, comprising a sleek coupe fastback profile, panoramic sunroof, and distinctive taillight. For comfort and luxury features, BYD has offered wrapped-around ventilated leather seats, an HD 15.6-inch rotating infotainment screen, 13 airbags, and ample cabin space for both front and rear passengers.
2025 BYD Seal 07 DM-i is available at BYD showrooms in the UAE at a starting price of AED 109,900 for the base Design variant, while the top-spec Premium variant costs AED 129,900.
The new Seal 07 DM-i launch is a major move by Al Futtaim Electric Mobility as it rapidly expands its BYD showroom network across the UAE, with existing locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Al Futtaim has also provided a comprehensive ecosystem for electric vehicles, including seamless after-sales support, mobile services, financing, and EV charging infrastructure.
