Xpeng introduced its electric cars, the G6, G9, and P7i, at the 2024 Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand, marking its entry into the ASEAN market. After this debut, Xpeng plans to launch its electric vehicles in other ASEAN countries. In the future, Xpeng aims to bring its electric cars to Malaysia through a partnership with Bermaz Auto and to Singapore through a collaboration with Premium Automobiles.

Neo Mobility Asia will be responsible for distributing Xpeng vehicles in Thailand. It's a collaboration between MGC-Asia GreenTech and Arun Plus Mobility Holdings.
The Xpeng G6, the first model offered by the brand, is available for pre-booking in two variants. At the Bangkok International Motor Show, Xpeng showcased its G6 along with other electric vehicles, including a flying car, an SUV, and a sedan. Nothing has been disclosed about the availability of these variants in ASEAN markets.

The Xpeng G9 uses the same SEPA 2.0 platform as the G6. The main difference between the two models is that the G9 is larger, with dimensions of 1,937 mm width, 4,891 mm length, 1,680 mm height, and a 2,998 mm wheelbase. In China, it comes in five variants, priced between 263,900 to 359,900 yuan. This includes models like the 570 Max and 570 Pro, which have a 78.4-kWh battery offering a range of around 570 km.

These models are equipped with a single electric motor and rear-wheel drive, generating 313 horsepower and 430 Newton-meters of torque. They can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds.
The P7i is an updated version of the P7 sedan, featuring enhanced power, refreshed styling, improved range, and an upgraded sensor suite. Launched in China in 2023, it comes in variants named '550', '702', and '610', priced from 223,900 to 339,900 yuan. The latest variant, the 702 Max Wing Edition, boasts front scissor doors and is equipped with an 86.2 kWh battery and a 400V architecture, offering a range of up to 702 km.
Xpeng showcased a range of electric vehicles, including the G6, G9, and P7i, at the Bangkok International Motor Show. These models offer varying features, such as different dimensions, power outputs, and battery capacities, catering to diverse consumer preferences. With advancements in technology and improvements in range, Xpeng continues to expand its offerings and make strides in the electric vehicle market.
