Toyota discontinues the four-cylinder Supra to focus on the more powerful six-cylinder model.
The 2025 Supra lineup exclusively features the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine.
Options include an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission.
Enhanced technology features like navigation, adaptive cruise control, and premium audio are standard.
The Supra's starting price in the UAE begins at AED 214,900.
Toyota has quietly phased out the four-cylinder variant of the Supra, which was part of the fifth-generation lineup introduced in 2020. This model featured a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, aimed at broadening the Supra's appeal with a more accessible entry point while retaining its sporty character.
In 2023, the Supra saw sluggish sales, moving only 2,652 units, while other sports cars saw growth. Although Toyota doesn't break down sales by specific models or engine types, it's believed the four-cylinder version was less favored compared to the six-cylinder model.

Toyota has discontinued the four-cylinder Supra, leaving only the six-cylinder models. The 2025 Supra comes in two versions: 3.0 and 3.0 Premium, both with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine producing 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. Buyers can opt for an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. The automatic model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in around 3.9 seconds, while the manual version does it in about 4.2 seconds.

Toyota's decision to discontinue the four-cylinder Supra shows their focus on improving their sports car lineup with the more powerful six-cylinder model, which is more popular.
The Supra's future seems secure. In the UAE, the 3.0L V-6 Supra starts at AED 214,900, equipped with features like an 8.8" Navigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Head-Up Display, and 12 JBL Speakers.
Toyota's move to phase out the four-cylinder Supra underscores its commitment to refining its sports car offerings, prioritizing the high-performance six-cylinder variant. This strategy ensures the Supra remains competitive and appealing to enthusiasts.
