Avatr Technology, backed by CATL, Huawei, and Changan Automobile, is expanding into the Middle East. They have partnered with the UAE-based luxury car dealer Al Saqer Group. Together, they will introduce several Avatr models to the local market. The first showroom will open on Shaikh Zayed Road in Dubai.

Al Saqer Group, a luxury car dealership in the UAE with over 40 years of history, distributes prestigious brands like Rolls-Royce, BMW, and McLaren. Avatr, in its global expansion strategy, highlighted Al Saqer Group's role in growing its presence in the Middle East automotive market.

Avatr plans significant international expansion in 2024, focusing on markets in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe. They aim to open more than 90 authorized stores across 40 countries in these regions. Recently, Avatr also formed partnerships in Azerbaijan, Singapore, and Nepal as part of its strategy to achieve global sales targets.

According to data from CnEVPost, Avatr delivered approximately 4,569 vehicles in May, showing a 162.89% increase from the previous year but a decrease of 12.92% from April. From January to May, Avatr delivered about 24,348 vehicles, marking a 170.77% increase compared to the same period last year.
Avatr's significant increase in vehicle deliveries reflects strong growth in its market presence, despite a slight month-on-month decline in May. The company's expansion efforts seem well underway, aiming to sustain momentum in global EV markets.
