In its recent sales report, Toyota Motor Corporation announced that total global sales reached 6,976,035 vehicles, including those from its Daihatsu and Hino subsidiaries. In August 2024, Toyota sold 888,698 units worldwide, with 149,636 sold in Japan and 739,053 sold internationally.

Toyota also reported that it sold 2,845,880 electrified models from January to August 2024, with 2,601,317 being hybrid electric vehicles.
