Fuel Fill-Up Cost In The UAE

With the recent drop in fuel prices, the per-kilometer running costs will see a notable reduction. Filling up your car's petrol tank is now more affordable compared to last month. Depending on the tank size, you could save between AED 6 and AED 20.25 on a full tank.

Petrol Price Standardisation In The UAE

Before 2015, the government highly subsidised fuel prices. This protected prices from fluctuating. However, in September 2015, it was liberalised to align with global oil prices. The Fuel Price Committee decides fuel prices in the UAE and we can expect more changes over the next few months.

Verdict

The updated fuel prices for July 2024 in the UAE show a reduction in both petroleum and diesel costs. This decrease is expected to provide financial relief to consumers, lowering per-kilometer running expenses and making fuel more affordable overall.
