Smart Mobility International, a leading distributor of new-age energy vehicles, has partnered with IM Motors, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer backed by SAIC Motor, Alibaba Group, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech.

The agreement with SMI will allow IM Motors to enter the GCC market. Initially, the automaker will launch its vehicles in the UAE and Saudi Arabia by the end of this year. The contract was signed at IM Motors’ first UAE showroom in Sheik Zayed Road, Dubai, between the Co-CEO of IM Brand, Mr. Liu Tao, and the CEO of SMI, Mr Moutaz Louis.
During the contract signing event, Sheikh Saif Bin Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamed marked his presence as one of the attendees. IM Motors unveiled its flagship IM LS7, a fully electric luxury SUV featuring a smart panoramic cockpit with AI integration, advanced safety and connectivity features, and ample cabin space with premium detailing. One of the noticeable features of this luxury SUV is its rear right seat, which is designed with zero-gravity technology borrowed from aerospace engineering.
