In 2023, skoda recorded a high number of car deliveries, selling 866,800 vehicles worldwide. This shows a remarkable rise of 18.5% over the prior year. The Octavia continued to be the best-selling vehicle worldwide, with the SUVs Kamiq and Kodiaq coming in second.
Although skoda maintained its prosperity in well-established regions such as Germany and the Czech Republic, the Middle East is becoming an increasingly important area of growth for the carmaker.
2023 saw a breakthrough for Škoda in the Middle East. With 2,463 units delivered, a remarkable 108% increase over 2022 was recorded. As the best-selling models in the Middle East, the Kodiaq and Kushaq stole the show. Compared to 2022, the Kushaq's sales saw a staggering 300% growth.
In Kuwait, the automaker unveiled the brand's new corporate identity at its first showroom outside of Europe. The showroom aims to improve the client experience by being digitalized.

Skoda has big intentions for the Middle East by 2024. The company wants to strengthen its position in the industry by increasing brand recognition and growing its network of dealerships. The goal of the Czech brand is to introduce European building standards to the Middle East.
