The redesigned Skoda Octavia stands out with its striking front bumper crease and angular LED headlights, reminiscent of the Czech flag. While the side profile remains similar to the pre-facelift model, it now features new dual-tone alloy wheels.
The interior of the Skoda Octavia has been upgraded with a new 13-inch infotainment touchscreen that seamlessly integrates with voice assistant technology like ChatGPT AI. Additionally, charging options have been enhanced, with the 'Phone Box' now supporting wireless charging up to 15W and improved USB-C connections that provide fast charging up to 45W. However, the absence of 'smart dial' control limits the availability of physical interface options.
Beneath the surface, the Skoda Octavia has undergone several adjustments to improve its overall efficiency. Notably, the 1.5-liter base engine has been equipped with a redesigned turbocharger. Additionally, drivers can opt for a 48V mild-hybrid system paired with either a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox, all of which contribute to enhanced fuel efficiency.
Furthermore, the 1.5-liter engine with 150 horsepower also offers the option of incorporating mild-hybrid technology and various gearbox selections similar to the base model. Meanwhile, the high-performance vRS variant boasts a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 265 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Skoda's current lineup in the UAE comprises the Scala Hatchback, Octavia, Superb Sedans, and the Kushaq, Kushaq Monte Carlo, and Kamiq SUVs.
