ROX, a Chinese luxury car manufacturer, has officially unveiled its new global flagship SUV called ROX Adamas during a grand launch event organized at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The debut of the Adamas SUV is considered a critical milestone for the company as it now aims to enter the global luxury car market, starting from the heart of the Middle East.

The ROX Adamas shares the philosophy of redefined power found in ROX cars, featuring expressive design with cutting-edge electric performance and handcrafted luxury. The exterior color palette of the SUV is inspired by the natural landscape of the Middle East, getting inspiration from desert sands, shimmering coasts, and golden sunsets to maintain regional aesthetics.

In the front, the Adamas gets a striking diamond-mesh grille, flanked by sleek LED matrix headlamp that underscores its bold stance. There are sculpted body lines that flow seamlessly towards the reader part of the vehicle, enriched by the continuous light bar and chrome detailing for a more premium profile. Large aerodynamic wheels and flush door handles add to its performance and sophistication, whereas the panoramic roof adds to its confident profile.

Inside the cabin is a blend of craftsmanship and ultra-luxury marques. The seats can be found upholstered in premium Nappa leather, and every part of the surface has been thoughtfully finished, including a Microfiber Suede headliner, which is the same material used by top-tier European luxury automakers. The cabin also includes ambient lighting, advanced climate control, and a large, high-definition infotainment interface that provides an immersive, modern environment designed for long-distance comfort.
Under the hood, the ROX Adamas gets a dual electric motor powertrain with an all-wheel drive setup. The hybrid electric powertrain is equipped with a 56kWh battery pack and a 70-liter fuel tank for a range extender. The combined power output of this setup is 475 horsepower and a range of up to 1,226 km. ROX claims the Adamas can deliver fuel efficiency of 16.3 km/l.
The ROX Adamas SUV has been launched in multiple trims, each of which has been carefully configured to meet the diverse needs of Emirati customers. The standard model focuses on comfort and technology with integration of premium leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, and advanced safety assistance. While the pricing of this new ROX car in the UAE hasn't been revealed yet, the brand has promised to provide regional specifications and delivery timelines soon.
