One of the standout features of the Cullinan Cosmos is that it is the first time Rolls-Royce has offered a fully hand-painted Starlight Headliner. It has been crafted by the brand’s in-house artists who spent over 160 hours creating this unmistakable design. Unlike the brand’s fiber-optic constellations that have been benchmarked for quality and luxury experience, this exclusive version gets painted cosmic clouds, star clusters, and fiber optic perforations to create a three-dimensional and almost ethereal night-sky environment.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Cosmos SUV has been offered in Arabescato Pearl, a shimmering finish that mirrors the glow of moonlight on a midnight sky, exterior color palette. It also has a hand-painted Charles Blue twin coachline accentuates the vehicle’s contours, whereas the Illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy completes this theme.

When going inside, the Cullinan Cosmos shows a serene, meditative space reminiscent of deep space stillness. It has reclining seats that are upholstered in Charles Blue and Grace White leather with precise contrast stitching and pippin. There are also Piano White veneers that set the connection between spacecraft exteriors, integrating luxury with futuristic edge. It also has a specifically designed Star Cluster motif, which has been created in collaboration with the commissioning family, further enhancing the cabin atmosphere. The bespoke detail spreads as embroidery on the door panels and headrests, and even as a hand-painted work of art on the passenger fascia.

Unlike any other Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the Cosmos SUV comes with a Starlight Headliner, which has been offered for the first time in the brand’s production car. This Starlight Headliner is completely painted by hand, and the artwork captures the ethereal glow of the Milky Way, layered with over 20 applications of acrylic paint to achieve depth and luminosity. The in-house artist of Rolls-Royce used various brushes, including an unexpected makeup brush, to create delicate cosmic mists, while speckling techniques added to the realist appearance of the design. After painting the Starlight Headliner, it was also sealed, and fiber optic perforations were carefully punched by hand to align with the celestial design theme perfectly.
