The Renault Clio has been one of the most successful vehicles in Renault’s portfolio. It has been considered a cultural icon and benchmark in the hatchback segment. Initially launched in 1990, the Clio revolutionized the small-car segment by offering better quality, design, and technology that were previously reserved for higher segment models. As of now, about 17 million units of Renault Clio have been sold in the global market. After this successful run, Renault has introduced the sixth generation of its best-selling hatchback, further strengthening its position as a stronger, smarter, and more efficient compact vehicle than ever.

Over the year, Clio has been recognized as a reliable and performance-efficient vehicle in its segment. It has also received the European Car of the Year two times, first in 1991 and second in 2006, and has ranked among the best-selling models in markets like France, the UK, and Turkey, along with other major European markets. Clio has been offered in multiple variants, including the luxurious Baccara, the sporty Williams, and the outrageous Clio V6 with its mid-engine configuration, and most recently, the hybrid E-Tech.

The sixth-generation Renault Clio further cements its position in target markets with a bolder design and more sculpted aerodynamics, with sleek lines and a confident stance, representing Renault’s modern styling language. Under the hood, the Clio hatchback features a new E-Tech full hybrid 160 hp engine setup, providing balanced performance and efficiency. Compared to previous generation models, the new Clio is more environmentally friendly and saves up to 40% more fuel. Additionally, it can drive in an all-electric model up to 80% of the time in the city, offering unmatched practicality and performance.

Inside the cabin, the Clio features recycled materials for sustainability and a high-tech double V-shaped digital screen powered by the OpenR Link multimedia system with Google built in. Every vehicle feature is seamlessly accessible, making the drive more convenient and comfortable. On the safety part, the hatchback comes with up to 29 advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and a 360-degree camera.
All in all, the sixth-generation Clio has been designed to add a new chapter in its successful production run. The model has already been sold in over 120 countries, securing over 17 million unit sales. Renault has confirmed it has the capacity to produce over 1,000 units of Clio daily at its Bursa plant. The new generation Renault Clio remains the superpowered hatch that offers segment-leading practicality, features, design, and efficient performance.
