The Vietnamese automaker introduces its VF 8 electric SUV to the UAE market.
The VF 8 is available in two trims, Eco and Plus, priced at $47,500 (AED 174,443) and $51,500 (AED 189,133), respectively.
The Eco trim features 349 hp and 500 Nm, while the Plus variant boosts power to 402 hp and 620 Nm.
Both variants come with an 87.7 kWh battery, offering up to 493 km (Eco) and 476 km (Plus) range.
The battery charges from 10-70% in around 31 minutes with DC fast charging.

VinFast launched the VF 8 as its first electric vehicle in the UAE, available in two versions: Eco and Plus, with prices starting at $47,500 (AED 174,443) and $51,500 (AED 189,133).
The VF 8 Eco trim features an all-wheel-drive dual-motor system producing 349 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The VF 8 Plus, however, is equipped with stronger e-motors, offering 402 hp and 620 Nm of torque.
Both VF 8 variants come with an 87.7 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 493 km (NEDC) for the Eco trim and 476 km (NEDC) for the Plus trim. The battery can be charged from 10-70% in around 31 minutes using DC fast charging.
The VinFast VF 8 has a length of 4750 mm, width of 1934 mm, height of 1667 mm, and a wheelbase of 2950 mm.

The ADAS package includes features like front collision warning, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, emergency lane keeping assist, lane centering assist, traffic jam assist, highway assist, and a driver monitoring system.
The top-tier VinFast VF 8 variant offers larger 20-inch wheels, a 10-speaker enhanced audio system, ventilated seats, 12-way power driver seats, 10-way passenger seats, a panoramic sunroof, vegan leather seats, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
VinFast cars will be distributed by Al Tayer Motors in the UAE, which has opened its first showroom in downtown Dubai. The showroom spans over 1,000 square meters and features a modern, luxurious design with an integrated service workshop, allowing customers to experience VinFast's smart electric vehicles firsthand.
