With the drop in fuel prices, the cost per kilometer will also be noticeably reduced. Filling up your petrol tank is now cheaper than last month, saving you between AED 9.60 and AED 28.80, depending on your tank size.

How Petrol Price Is Decided?

Before 2015, the government heavily subsidized fuel prices, keeping them stable. However, in September 2015, prices were adjusted to match global oil rates. Now, the UAE Fuel Price Committee sets the prices, and we can expect further changes in the coming months.

Verdicts

The UAE's fuel prices have seen consistent decreases in recent months, offering relief to consumers. Since the government liberalized fuel prices in 2015, they now reflect global oil trends. With further adjustments expected, the UAE's Fuel Price Committee plays a crucial role in determining future price changes.
