Nissan has officially rolled out its new generation Connected Services across the Patrol lineup in the Middle East. The next generation Connected Car Services 2.0 is now accessible across the Nissan Patrol lineup. This update has been rolled out in the highly anticipated all-new Patrol PRO-4X and the exclusive Patrol NISMO edition, making the region’s iconic off-road SUV even more capable and practical for customers.

At the core of this innovation is the MyNissan app, which is designed to strengthen the bond between the driver and the vehicle. The Middle East market marks the global debut of the MyNissan Ownership feature, providing customers with four core services directly accessible from their smartphones. With their phone, they can easily book a service appointment, schedule a test drive, locate the nearest Nissan dealership, and explore nearby attractions.
As part of Nissan Next Generation Connected Car Services 2.0, the Japanese automaker has offered an upgraded suite of remote functions and real-time data access. Drivers can now remotely lock or unlock vehicle doors, check the status of doors, windows, and the truck, as well as start the engine and pre-set cabin temperature.
The feature now also provides live health diagnostics of the vehicle, including updates on battery health, oil pressure, tire condition, and airbags. Additionally, the CCS 2.0 keeps the driver fully in control of their Patrol’s condition and performance at all times.
Commenting on this update, Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional VP and President of Middle East, KSA, CIS - Nissan and INFINITI, stated that the Middle East continues to play a pivotal role in Nissan’s global innovation journey. The company is pleased that the new ownership experience within the MyNissan app has been launched in the Middle East. Now in the entire Nissan Patrol SUV lineup, the customers will have an elevated connected driving experience across every touchpoint, he further added.
Nissan Patrol has become the first vehicle in the region to come mated with Google built-in, which includes Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play. These features are all accessible through the SUV’s 28.6-inch Monolith display with embedded internet connectivity for continuous over-the-air updates. There is also wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support for seamless connectivity and an entertaining drive experience.
Now available in all models of the Patrol lineup in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Nissan is gearing up to roll out this update in other countries as part of Nissan’s broader digital transformation strategy.
