Nissan has reinforced its position as an SUV leader in the Middle East with the launch of its first-ever Nissan Magnite, strengthening its regional portfolio to six nameplates and 47 variants. It's a bold move by a Japanese automobile manufacturer, showcasing its long-term commitment to the Middle East automotive market, where SUVs continue to dominate customer preferences.

Nissan has already been known for its iconic SUV models like the Nissan Patrol. In FY2024, the SUV and crossover product lineup accounted for over 55% of Nissan's regional sales, recording 17% of YoY growth. This growth was led by the addition of new models and refreshed offerings, each designed to offer the best possible value to regional buyers. The launch of the Nissan Magnite compact SUV adds a new milestone for the brand. The Magnite SUV is well recognized for its compact, bold, and practical design, making it popular among urban drivers.

The introduction of the Magnite means that customers in the Middle East now have access to a total of six SUVs from the company. The Nissan Magnite has been introduced as the brand's new entry-level SUV for city lifestyles, while Nissan Kicks, the all-new second generation, is positioned for customers requiring bold styling, more advanced features like a panoramic sunroof, and ProPILOT driver assistance. The region's most popular Nissan SUV, the Nissan Patrol, is now available in 16 different trims, including Patrol Pro-4X and Patrol NISMO. On the other hand, the brand's SUV portfolio also comprises Nissan Pathfinder and X-Terra to fill the gap in the mid-size SUV segment.
With a legendary history, the Nissan Patrol has been one of the most popular off-road SUVs in the Middle East. Nissan has also offered several rugged and more powerful trims for customers requiring more performance and a luxurious experience. Whether it's the rugged Patrol Pro-4X designed for off-road performance or the Patrol NISMO that combines luxury with iconic performance, the Patrol lineup continues to set the benchmark for capability and reliable performance.
The recent debut of the first-ever Nissan Magnite showcases the brand's approach to strengthening its position in one of its most important global markets. Available across the regional partner network, the updated SUV lineup offers something for every budget group of customers in the Middle East, allowing them to bring a vehicle that offers a unique blend of innovation, performance, and practicality.
