Earlier this month, JAC Motors and Al Habtoor Motors, their exclusive distributor in the United Arab Emirates, unveiled the new JAC JS6 SUV. With a chassis design based on the business's new MIS architecture, the JAC JS6 has been revealed as the Chinese brand's flagship model in the area. The JAC S3 Plus and JAC JS4 crossover/SUV models are sold in retail by JAC Motors in the United Arab Emirates. The larger JS6's arrival will undoubtedly aid in the Chinese brand's portfolio expansion in the Middle East.
Karim Maksoud, the managing director of Al Habtoor Motors, and Ahmed Khalaf Al Habtoor, the CEO of Al Habtoor Motors, were present at the launch of the new JAC JS6 at the company's Deira showroom. Xiang Xingchu, General Manager of JAC Motors, Oscar Yu, Deputy General Manager of JAC International, Andy Liu, Assistant General Manager of JAC International, and Secretary of the Board Feng Liangsen represented the automaker at the function. H.E. Zhang Yiming, the People's Republic of China's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, was also present.
The JAC JS6's external styling adheres to the "Aesthetic of the Times" design language, which is associated with the Chinese brand. This design concept draws attention to the JS6's stacked "galaxy" headlights and equally striking "double Beidou" LED taillights, emphasizing the sleek LED light band and a muscular-looking bumper up front.
The JAC JS6's rear end has more eye-catching features than just its 3D-style rear lights. The JS6's aggressively designed black plastic bumper trim, full-width LED taillight, dual tailpipes, and stylish roof spoiler all contribute to its sleek and sporty rear-end appearance. The shiny trim that extends from the door mirrors to the back of the C-pillars and the 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels both have a decent appearance.
Perhaps among crossover SUVs currently available on the market, the JAC JS6 does not have the most cutting-edge styling. Even so, it does have enough styling cues—albeit in a larger package—to catch the eye of people who appreciate the JS4's overall design. Which brings us to our measurement: the JAC JS6 is 4,605 mm long, 1890 mm wide, and 1,700 mm high. The JS6's wheelbase is 100 mm longer than the JS4's, spanning 2,720 mm.
The new JS6's interior design language is far more striking and cutting-edge than that of the JS4's. In addition to having a better-integrated technology system throughout the entire cabin, the JAC JS6 also appears to have better materials, a stitched effect on multiple surfaces, and slick patterns on the door pads and speakers.
This cabin's appeal is increased by the addition of faux leather and metallic trim. In addition to paddle shifters and a rotary transmission knob with a knurled finish, the JS6 gets an opulent touch-sensitive HVAC panel. A more spacious interior is made possible by the dual-pane sunroof and the well-bolstered front seats, which have a sporty appearance. The JS6's rear seats have more legroom than the JS4 due to its longer wheelbase, and its practicality is increased by the presence of enough useful cubbies.
The new JAC JS6 is equipped with the features that modern consumers want, as would be expected from a crossover SUV. Automatic climate control, an eight-speaker audio system, wireless charging, memory and heating functions for the electrically operated front seats, automatic wipers, automatic LED headlights, an electric tailgate, and a touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are just a few of the features available on the JS6.
A frontal collision warning system, blind-spot detection, 360-degree cameras, TPMS, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and up to six airbags are among the safety features of the JAC JS6.
A 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 280 Nm of maximum torque and 181 horsepower powers the JAC JS6. The front wheels are powered by a 6-speed DCT gearbox with the wet clutch that is connected to this 4-cylinder engine. You won't be very impressed with the JS6 if performance is your top concern. The JS6 reaches 100 km/h at its own sweet pace, but with enough force, it can reach 180 km/h.
The JAC JS6 won't let you down if you're looking for a more sizable, potent JS4 with tons more features. In the interim, YallaMotor can assist you with both new and used cars. There are many used cars available in Dubai, and our website also features listings for the best cars available in the United Arab Emirates. On the other hand, visit an Al Habtoor Motors showroom to learn more if you'd like to see the JAC JS6 in person.
