BMW-owned Mini has unveiled the next-generation Cooper’s 5-door variant. This latest model will enhance practicality without making any compromises to the dynamic driving experience and iconic design that people love about the 3-door model.

The 5-door Mini Cooper now provides enhanced versatility and accessibility, catering to urban travelers who value both functionality and style. Currently, this model is only offered with internal combustion engine options.

The new 5-door variant of the Cooper offers enhanced practicality and interior space with its dimensions. It measures 1,744 mm wide, 4,036 mm long, and 1,464 mm high, featuring a wheelbase of 2,567 mm. Compared to the 3-door model, it is 172 mm longer and has a 72 mm longer wheelbase. With the second row folded, the boot capacity increases to a generous 923 liters, providing an additional 123 liters of storage compared to the 3-door version.
The new Mini Cooper embodies the design philosophy of "Charismatic Simplicity," featuring a compact silhouette with a small hood, short front and rear overhangs, and larger wheels. It comes equipped with flush-fitting LED tail lights, LED headlights, an octagonal front grille, and a selection of 18- and 16-inch wheels. The car is available in four trim styles: Favoured, JCW, Essential, and Classic.

The new 5-door Cooper will offer two engine choices: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine. The 1.5-liter engine produces approximately 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 225 km/h. The 2.0-liter engine generates around 201 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and boasting a top speed of 242 km/h.

Production of the all-new 5-door Mini Cooper is scheduled to begin in July, with deliveries to European markets starting in September. Mini Cooper has not disclosed details regarding the launch of the new 5-door model in the UAE.
Introduction of the brand-new 5-door Mini Cooper marks a significant advancement in both style and functionality within the automotive industry. Combining the iconic design elements of Mini with enhanced practicality and spaciousness, this model appeals to a broader audience seeking both efficiency and charm in their vehicles. With its innovative features and modern aesthetics, the 5-door Mini Cooper not only reaffirms its place as a symbol of urban chic but also sets new standards for versatility and driving pleasure in its class.
