After winning the ninth Formula 1 Constructors’ championship in 2024 at the season-ending Abu Dhabi GP after a 26-year drought, McLaren has recently announced to build of just nine units of McLaren Celebration Edition Artura and 750S each; both editions will be showcasing customized livery and autographs from team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The ultra-exclusive edition also features Champions’ Laurel and Ninth-Star logo and diverse custom orange accents, including a hood stripe.
McLaren ranks as the second most successful team in Formula 1 after Ferrari. However, despite having a golden history in sports car racing and winning the 20085 Drivers’ championship with Lewis Hamilton, McLaren had to wait for almost 26 years after its last Constructor’s title win in 1998.
Only 18 McLaren customers will secure their chance to be part of the title celebration by buying either one of the nine MCL38 Celebration Edition Artura or one of the nine 750S supercars. The automaker decided to go with nine units because this highlights McLaren’s ninth Constructors’ Championship victory.
Moreover, the Artura MCL38 Celebration Edition will have a Papaya Orange 13 o’clock steering wheel marker. At the same time, the 750S MCL Celebration Edition will also feature a Papaya minor stripe, including one on the leading edge of the front splitter. The interior of MCL38 Celebration Edition will equally be striking, featuring a Visual Carbon Fibre Extended Sill Cover on the driver’s side with a personal signature of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri and the Champions' Laurel on the seat headrest area.
On this victory, McLaren Automotive CEO Michael Leiters said, “The relentless pursuit of excellence is intrinsic to the McLaren mindset, and in 2024, we demonstrated this with incredible success on both the track and the road.”
“The achievements of Zak Brown, Andrea Stella, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, and the entire McLaren Racing team in winning the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship are beyond inspirational – and what better way to mark this than with an ultra-exclusive Celebration Edition of our award-winning Artura and 750S.”
Notably, these two McLaren supercars aren’t more different from each other when it comes to thrilling performances on the road. Artura draws power from a 3.0-liter V6 hybrid engine, while 750S uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 powertrain. If you need a grand tourer, the McLaren Celebration Edition Artura would be the option, while the 750S is for a little extended experience.
