Mazda has refreshed its BT-50 pickup truck for the 2024 model year, offering improvements to both the Double Cab and Freestyle Cab variants. These updated models come with a price range of THB 752,000 (AED 347,175) to THB 1,272,000 (AED 5,888,088), providing customers with various choices.
Mazda has revamped the design of all variants of its BT-50 pickup truck, introducing updates like the new Rock Gray color option and a glossy black "Signature Wing" front grille. Additionally, a "Black Thunder" exterior package is offered, featuring glossy black accents on various parts like the sports bar and wheels, allowing for further customization. These changes aim to give the BT-50 a refreshed appearance and provide customers with options for personalization.
Inside, the BT-50 boasts a high-quality interior with two-tone seat upholstery for enhanced style and comfort. The baseline model now includes a 7-inch center touchscreen, while higher variants offer a larger 9-inch touchscreen display.
The BT-50's 4WD model comes with features like Rough Terrain Mode, paddle shifters, and electronic differential lock, enhancing control and traction in different driving situations. Additionally, it includes an intelligent safety suite comprising adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam assist, and lane departure warning. These safety measures aim to provide a smooth and secure driving experience for both passengers and drivers.
The Mazda BT-50 offers two Euro 5 diesel turbo engines: a 3.0-liter engine with 190 horsepower and a 1.9-liter engine with 150 horsepower. Customers can opt for either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Benefiting from Isuzu's expertise in pickup truck manufacturing, the Mazda BT-50 shares its platform with the Isuzu D-MAX. Production of the BT-50 will also take place at Isuzu's assembly plant in Thailand.
