Available only in a triple-layer Artisan Red paint.
Comes with a 35th Anniversary logo on floor mats and headrests, with striking paint on door cards, key fob, and air vent bezels.
Features regular seats instead of Recaros, with no Bilstein dampers or front Brembo brakes, prioritizing comfort.
Each car will be individually numbered, but production won't be limited by units, only by time.
A plaque near the rear wheel will indicate the production sequence of each vehicle.
Mazda has introduced the 35th Anniversary Edition of the MX-5 Miata, called the Roadster in Japan. It was revealed at Fuji International Speedway during this year's Mazda Fan Festa, giving everyone a first look at this special version of the famous Japanese roadster.

The RF and soft-top models will only be available in a special triple-layer Artisan Red paint. The standard Roadster has smaller 16-inch alloy wheels, while the hardtop version has 17-inch wheels.
Both models come with a manually operated beige folding top, similar to the red-and-tan interiors from earlier editions. This design honors the early 2000s NB Special Edition and the mid-1990s NA M-Edition.
The eye-catching paint also covers the door cards, key fob, and air vent bezels, with a 35th Anniversary logo on the floor mats and headrests. Unlike the Recaro seats from the 30th Anniversary model, this edition features regular seats and does not include Bilstein dampers or front Brembo brakes. The focus of the 35th Anniversary edition is on comfort. Production will be limited by time rather than the number of units.

Mazda will individually number each 35th Anniversary Miata but won't limit production to meet demand. A plaque near the rear wheel will show the production number of each car.
Although the ND (fourth-generation MX-5 Miata) has been around since its 2014 debut, Mazda hinted at more special editions, possibly for next year to mark the ND's 10th anniversary.

The pricing and availability of this commemorative model in global markets have not been announced yet. With its rising popularity in the affordable sports car segment, this special edition will enhance its market presence.
The 35th Anniversary Edition of the Mazda MX-5 Miata celebrates the iconic roadster's legacy with exclusive features, including a striking Artisan Red paint and individual numbering. While production will not be limited, Mazda aims to satisfy demand by producing enough units.
The focus on comfort over performance marks a departure from previous special editions, appealing to a broader audience. With hints at more special editions to come and the ND model nearing its 10th anniversary, this limited-time offering is set to strengthen the Miata's presence in the budget-friendly sports car market.
