The second facelift of the seventh-generation Lexus ES has been officially revealed at Auto Guangzhou in China. It brings notable tech and design upgrades, while retaining the same engine options as before.

The Lexus ES now sports the "seamless" grille, first seen on the RX, flowing smoothly from the body color into an open grille with octagonal inserts. The updated headlights feature reshaped air inlets and a dual-L lighting signature.
At the rear, the taillights adopt the double-L design with a full-width light bar, and the traditional "L" logo is replaced by the Lexus script, giving the car a more modern appearance.
The Lexus ES facelift introduces a redesigned center stack, featuring the updated Lexus Interface system and a larger 14-inch touchscreen. The previous touchpad is replaced for easier control with dual rotary dials. The lower dashboard and center air vents have also been reworked to accommodate these changes.
The Lexus ES facelift offers a luxurious cabin with walnut or bamboo trim, a 7-inch digital instrument display, semi-aniline leather seats with memory, heating, and cooling, active noise cancellation, a panoramic sunroof, triple-zone climate control, a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and wireless charging. A new gear lever has been added to cater to younger Chinese customers.

In China, the updated Lexus ES maintains the same powertrains as before. The ES 200 is powered by a 2.0-liter engine producing 170 hp, while the ES 300h hybrid combines a 2.5-liter engine with an electric motor for 215 hp. Both models feature front-wheel drive and a CVT.

The Lexus ES is now available for order in China, with prices starting at ¥299,900 (AED 184,690) for the ES 200 Premium Edition and reaching up to ¥488,900 (AED 301,084) for the ES 300h Executive Edition.
