Kia Unveils Global Sales Figure for February 2025

Kia, a renowned automobile manufacturer from South Korea, has announced its global sales figure for February 2025. The automaker revealed that it sold 253,850 units in February 2025 globally, witnessing 4.5% YoY growth. The strong sales figure for Kia cars was driven by the successful launches of several new models, including the Kia K4 sedan and the Kia Syros SUV.

During February 2025, Kia SUV models outperformed in February with strong sales of 46,287 units for the Kia Sportage. Other SUV models also performed well, including the Kia Sorento SUV, which secured a sales figure of 24,173 units, and the Kia Seltos SUV, which got 24,040 global sales.

Kia Car Sales In South Korea

In South Korea alone, the automaker sold 46,003 units to register a 4.5% increase compared to last year. The Sorento SUV led the sales number with 9,067 units of local sales. Another model that led the sales in Korea was the Kia Carnival MPV, which registered 7,735 units, while the Kia Sportage with 6,568 units.

Kia Car Sales Outside Korea

Except for special purpose vehicles, the sales for Kia cars grew by 4.4% compared to the same time frame last year, showcasing 207,462 sales units. In the global market, the Kia Sportage SUV also maintained its momentum to secure 39,719 units in sales. The Seltos SUV, with 19,276 units, and the Kia K3 and K4 also received good responses, with combined sales of 16,549 units.

Kia aims to keep steady sales by launching more models in the coming months. These upcoming Kia car launches include the Kia EV4 and Kia Tasman, likely to make their debut by mid of this year. Kia will also strengthen its EV portfolio to solidify its global sales along with its position as a leading EV manufacturer.
