
Kia America has officially announced the July 2025 sales, confirming 71,123 unit sales during the month to record a 12% increase compared to the same month last year. The sales performance is driven by a 9% YoY increase in Kia’s retail sales in the country. The electrified and SUV models saw robust demand, with sales growth of 14% and 12%, respectively, compared to the same month last year.

The all-new 2026 Kia EV9 also marked impressive performance by selling 1,737 units in July, noticing a 90% increase compared to last month. Other electric models like Kia EV6 and Niro EV continued to see consistent demand, supporting Kia’s growth in America.
Several models, including Carnival, Sportage, and Telluride, recorded the best-ever July sales record. Kia Soul witnessed a 36% increase in sales, while Carnival’s sales rose by 30%. Kia K5 experienced a 25% boost, Telluride’s sales increased by 15%, Sportage saw a surge of 14%, and Sorento sales boosted by 11% in July 2025 compared to July 2024.
VP of Sales Operations at Kia America, Eric Watson, said that Kia is steadily progressing towards its highest annual sales record and an all-time high market driven by record-breaking sales growth. He also mentioned the consistent double-digit growth of their SUV lineup and advertised the 2026 Sportage.
Along with America, Kia is also gaining significant momentum in the UAE. It experienced 64.6% YoY sales growth in April 2025 with top-selling models like Kia Sorento, Kia Sportage, and Kia K5. In the UAE, Kia has partnered with Al Majid Motors to officially distribute Kia vehicles across the country and handle customer and after-sales services for Kia customers.
The South Korean automobile company has been known for developing technologically equipped, modern-looking, family-friendly cars. With flagship models like Kia EV9 and Kia Carnival, it has been consistently seeing incredible growth potential in the UAE as well as the American market.
