Chinese automakers Omoda & Jaecoo introduced their latest offering, the J7 mid-size luxury SUV, for the first time in the UAE. The unveiling took place at the Meliá Desert Palm in Dubai.

Alongside the J7, the brand also showcased the Omoda C5, which recently made its debut in the UAE. Attendees had the opportunity to briefly test drive both the C5 and the J7. Stay tuned for our detailed reviews of each SUV coming soon.

Upon release, the Chinese luxury mid-size SUV will come in three different versions:

Exterior Design

JAECOO J7

The exterior profile of the Jaecoo J7 bears a resemblance to the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, as it is based on the Chery SUV platform. At the front, a prominent large vertical-slat grille connects to the daytime running lights (DRLs) on each side. The main headlights are positioned on the bumper, aligning with the prevailing design trend in SUVs.

Along the sides, the Jaecoo J7 showcases a boxy design with sculpted wheel arches, lending it a robust and rugged appearance suitable for off-road adventures. Moving to the rear, a substantial LED lightbar links the sleek taillights on each side, enhancing its premium aesthetic.

The seats are plush, power-adjustable, and ventilated, ensuring optimal comfort for passengers. Additionally, the inclusion of a spacious panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting further enriches the overall driving experience.
