The design of the Mazda CX-70 closely resembles that of the CX-90, including similar body structure, front grille, and headlights. Notably, it marks Mazda's inaugural integration of Alexa within an SUV model.
The Mazda CX-70 is equipped with the same turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine found in its sibling, the CX-90, capable of delivering up to 340 horsepower.
Mazda has launched the CX-70, its latest SUV model. In 2021, the company unveiled plans for five new SUV variants, including the CX-50, CX-70, CX-60, CX-80, and CX-90. While the CX-90, CX-50, and CX-60 were previously introduced, Mazda has now introduced the CX-70 as the fourth addition to this lineup.

The name suggests that the Mazda CX-70 occupies a mid-size SUV segment, positioned between the larger CX-90 and the compact CX-50. Its design mirrors that of the CX-90, with a similar body structure, front grille, and headlights. Setting it apart are distinctive features such as 21-inch wheels, distinct bumpers, and black accents. While Mazda hasn't provided precise dimensions, the CX-70 is estimated to be approximately 5 meters in length.

The interior of the Mazda CX-70 takes cues from the CX-90, boasting premium materials such as contrast grey metallic accents and luxurious red Nappa leather. It offers practicality with features like improved cargo space and remote-folding rear seats.

The Mazda CX-70 comes equipped with advanced technology including an infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and tri-zone climate control. It also offers luxurious features like ventilated and heated front seats. Notably, it is Mazda's inaugural SUV model to feature Alexa integration.
The SUV is equipped with advanced safety features including an Unresponsive Driver Support system for emergencies.
Sharing its turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine with the CX-90, the CX-70 generates a maximum output of 340 horsepower. Additionally, it offers a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) variant.

The CX-70 is scheduled to debut in US showrooms in spring 2024, with pricing information still undisclosed. Mazda has not disclosed the availability timeline for this SUV variant in the UAE.
Mazda's introduction of the CX-70 expands its SUV lineup, offering a mid-size option positioned between the CX-90 and CX-50. Featuring design elements reminiscent of the CX-90 and boasting luxurious interior amenities and advanced technology, the CX-70 presents a compelling option in its segment. Equipped with safety features and powered by a potent engine, it promises a blend of performance and safety. While its arrival in US showrooms is slated for spring 2024, details regarding pricing and availability in other regions, such as the UAE, remain undisclosed.
