Mazda has launched the CX-70, its latest SUV model. In 2021, the company unveiled plans for five new SUV variants, including the CX-50, CX-70, CX-60, CX-80, and CX-90. While the CX-90, CX-50, and CX-60 were previously introduced, Mazda has now introduced the CX-70 as the fourth addition to this lineup.
The name suggests that the Mazda CX-70 occupies a mid-size SUV segment, positioned between the larger CX-90 and the compact CX-50. Its design mirrors that of the CX-90, with a similar body structure, front grille, and headlights. Setting it apart are distinctive features such as 21-inch wheels, distinct bumpers, and black accents. While Mazda hasn't provided precise dimensions, the CX-70 is estimated to be approximately 5 meters in length.
The interior of the Mazda CX-70 takes cues from the CX-90, boasting premium materials such as contrast grey metallic accents and luxurious red Nappa leather. It offers practicality with features like improved cargo space and remote-folding rear seats.
The Mazda CX-70 comes equipped with advanced technology including an infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and tri-zone climate control. It also offers luxurious features like ventilated and heated front seats. Notably, it is Mazda's inaugural SUV model to feature Alexa integration.
