Hyundai Motor Company has revealed the Concept THREE at IAA 2025, placing it as the brand's first compact electric vehicle (EV) concept under the Ioniq sub-brand. The Hyundai Concept THREE is confirmed to enter production in 2026. According to market insights, Hyundai can launch the Concept THREE hatch under the nameplate of Ioniq 3 EV in the global market. However, the reports also claim that the South Korea-based automobile manufacturer can also name it Ioniq 2 and Ioniq 4.

The Hyundai Concept THREE measures 4,287 mm in overall length, 1,940 mm in width, 1,428 mm in height, and 2,722 mm in wheelbase, making it an ideal hatchback EV. Additionally, the Concept THREE carries Hyundai's Art of Steel design language and gets sculpted lines, signature pixel details on headlights, taillights, and the front bumper.

The interior of the Concept THREE hatchback presents a minimalist design with an octagonal steering wheel and a two-screen setup. The automaker claims that the cabin design creates a pleasing environment that feels warm, intuitive, and calming.

Hyundai has used sustainable materials like ocean waste textiles and lightweight aluminium foam for the interior, reducing its environmental impact. In Hyundai's electric hatchback concept, there are no touchscreens; instead, it features a few buttons to control functions like climate control.
While the production version powertrain details of Hyundai Concept THREE are not confirmed, it's likely to come equipped with a 58.3kWh and 81.4kWh battery pack, similar to Kia EV3.
