New Palisade SUV to launch in South Korea in early 2025.
Expected arrival in the US by June 2025 as a 2026 model.
UAE release details were not yet available.
Hyundai's flagship SUV, the Palisade, will debut globally earlier than initially planned, moving up from its original mid to late 2025 schedule. The new Palisade will undergo a complete design overhaul compared to its predecessor and is now set to be unveiled as early as 2025.
Hyundai's move to advance the debut of the next-generation Palisade to early 2025 is driven by increasing global demand for petrol hybrids. With the introduction of the Theta 3 Hybrid powertrain, Hyundai aims to capitalize on market opportunities. The upcoming Palisade will introduce a new flagship Theta engine lineup, replacing the non-hybrid Lambda series. This includes a flagship 2.5-liter turbo petrol engine paired with a robust hybrid setup.
In response to emissions standards, Hyundai is anticipated to unveil a 2.5-liter gasoline hybrid powertrain, which could result in the discontinuation of the 2.2-liter diesel option in certain markets where CRDi engines are offered.
Hyundai's top-tier SUV, the Palisade, rivals the Toyota Grand Highlander and Kia Telluride, showcasing a contemporary design influenced by the latest Santa Fe model. The upcoming Palisade will transition to a new platform, extending its wheelbase beyond the current model's 196.7 inches (4995 millimeters).
After its launch in South Korea in early 2025, the three-row family vehicle is expected to hit the US market by June of the same year as a 2026 model. However, details regarding the introduction of the next-generation Palisade in the UAE are still unavailable.
