A high-performance 650 hp N version may be introduced.

Expected to have a three-row layout similar to the EV9.
Three years ago, Hyundai revealed the Seven concept with an electric powertrain and lounge-style interior. Now, the production version, called the Ioniq 9, is set to launch. Similar in size to the Hyundai Palisade, it will use Hyundai's E-GMP platform, which also supports the Ioniq 5 and upcoming Kia and Hyundai EVs.

The Ioniq 9 will come with a 99.8-kWh battery, offering two options: a 383 hp dual-motor and a 203 hp single-motor. A high-performance N version with 650 hp is also expected, similar to the Ioniq 5 N. While inspired by the futuristic Seven concept, the Ioniq 9 will have a more practical design, without rear suicide doors or frameless windows, and is likely to feature a three-row layout like the EV9.

The Ioniq 9's interior will be similar to the latest Hyundai models like the Palisade and Santa Fe, featuring faux wood, aluminum accents, soft-touch materials, and multiple screens. It will have physical controls for climate and audio, while a touch panel will handle other functions. The gear selector will be a twist dial on the steering column, like in the Santa Fe.

The Ioniq 9 is expected to be built at Hyundai's new EV Metaplant in Georgia and will be revealed later this year.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9, set to debut later this year, represents the brand's next step in electric mobility. Built on Hyundai's E-GMP platform, it promises powerful performance with a modern, tech-focused design. With production planned at Hyundai’s EV Metaplant in Georgia, the Ioniq 9 is poised to offer a spacious, three-row SUV experience, further expanding Hyundai's electric vehicle lineup.
