General Motors Middle East has announced 26% YoY growth in Q1 2025 sales, showcasing strong performance in recent years. This sales performance is driven by increased demand for its Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac brand cars, particularly full-size SUVs and pickups.

The brand has a long-standing presence of about 99 years in the Middle East automobile market and continues to understand and fulfill customer demand. With the recent launches, including the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade, the brand has further strengthened its market position in the high-demand full-size SUV segment.
General Motors Middle East saw a 55% YoY surge in its full-size SUV segment, with the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban contributing to 22% growth. Additionally, the sales for GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse jumped 47%, while the Cadillac Escalade showcased a solid gain of 16%. With consistent performance, GM has been at the forefront in full-size pickups, enjoying one of the most favored full-size SUV and pickup brands in the Gulf region.
GM’s in-vehicle connectivity platform, OnStar, has contributed to 45% growth in activations during the Q1 of this year. Brand has recently enhanced the service with improvised navigation, remote commands, and real-time vehicle insights to elevate the customer experience. Middle East customers have also reported high customer satisfaction scores for after-sales service.
As per the publicly available data, six out of 10 customers now prefer services within the GM network. This signals improved service speed, digital innovation, competitive pricing structure, and enhanced training across dealership networks. The parts availability and faster service turnaround have also contributed to better customer service.
