To celebrate 60 years of the Mustang, Ford has released a special Mustang 60th Anniversary Package. Only 1965 of these limited-edition models will be produced, a nod to the Mustang's first launch in 1965. This special number pays tribute to the Mustang’s long history and significant role in the automotive world.
Ford has selected a nostalgic design for the seventh-generation Mustang’s special edition that pays homage to the original model. The anniversary package features unique badges on the trunk lid and fenders that resemble the first-generation Mustang’s original design.

The 20-inch wheels also have center caps inspired by the 1965 model, and the unique Vermillion Red paint matches the badges. This design approach captures the classic Mustang’s spirit while honoring its history.
The Mustang 60th Anniversary Package is available in Brittany Blue, a color first introduced in 1967, as well as Race Red, Wimbledon White, and Vapor Blue. It features a new eye-catching grille with silver-accented air intakes and a unique mesh design, paired with smoked headlamps.
This special package uses the same mechanical setup as the V8-powered GT Premium. It has an engine delivering 486 hp and 567 Nm of torque. The package also includes a limited-slip rear differential, a 10-speed automatic transmission, Brembo brakes, and an active exhaust system.

The Mustang 60th Anniversary models are expected to arrive in US showrooms by the end of 2024, with reservations starting in the summer. Ford hasn't announced the exact price yet, but the convertible will likely cost around $58K (AED 213,860) and the coupe about $50K (AED 183,500).
