Starting at $61,590 (AED 226,672), the Charger Daytona offers both value and innovation in the growing electric vehicle market. Its launch shows Dodge’s dedication to evolving its lineup while keeping the style and performance of the classic Charger.

The Charger Daytona can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds and has 670 horsepower, matching the performance of top gas-powered muscle cars.

Dodge announced that the next-gen Charger is a true legend, still holding the title of the most powerful and fastest muscle car in the world. The all-electric Charger Daytona, with its 400V propulsion system, delivers supercharged V-8 performance, instant torque, and zero emissions.

To keep its heritage alive, the Daytona features a "Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust" that mimics the classic Charger’s roar, even with an electric powertrain. Dodge CEO, Matt McAlear, said that the 2024 Charger Daytona two-door models will feel, look, drive, and sound like traditional Dodges, surpassing their legendary predecessors and living up to the Dodge Brotherhood of Muscle's expectations.

The company assumes that the “Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust” of Charger Daytona mimics the Hellcat’s distinctive roar. Hellcat is one of the most powerful muscle cars produced by Dodge. This feature enhances the driving experience by retaining the iconic sound that is often associated with high-performance models.

For drivers who prefer a quieter ride, Dodge has added a stealth mode to the Daytona. This allows the vehicle to operate quietly, like other EVs, providing a more refined and peaceful driving experience when desired. This dual feature makes the Daytona perfect for those who appreciate both a calm drive and the classic muscle car sound.

Verdict

The Dodge Charger Daytona represents a bold step into the electric vehicle market while staying true to the brand's muscle car heritage. With its powerful performance, innovative features like the "Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust," and the option for a quieter ride, the Daytona blends tradition with modern technology, making it an exciting choice for both muscle car enthusiasts and those seeking a more refined driving experience.
