Dacia has introduced an upgraded iteration of the Spring, bolstering its attractiveness as an affordable electric vehicle for urban settings. The 2024 Dacia Spring incorporates the latest design features from the brand, taking cues from the well-received Duster SUV while retaining its crossover attributes and ample ground clearance.

The Dacia Spring, originally manufactured in China and built on the Renault Kwid platform released in 2015 with combustion engines, has undergone significant updates for its 2024 model. Its refreshed exterior aligns with Dacia's modern design philosophy, reminiscent of the new Duster SUV.
Notable features include square wheel arches and extensive plastic body cladding, enhancing its compact EV with a rugged aesthetic. These modifications distinguish it from the earlier version, which appeared somewhat outdated, injecting a sense of modernity into Europe's most budget-friendly electric vehicle.

The 2024 Dacia Spring showcases numerous interior enhancements, including a redesigned dashboard layout. Updates are noticeable in the revamped air vents and redesigned climate controls, lending the cabin a modernized appearance. The steering wheel has been refreshed, featuring the new DC corporate logo. Furthermore, including a convenient smartphone holder and a new gear selector positioned behind it not only optimizes interior space but also elevates the vehicle's overall functionality.

The Dacia Spring offers two motor options: a 65-horsepower variant for the top-tier model and a 45-horsepower option for the base model. The higher-powered motor enables the EV to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in under 14 seconds, whereas the base model achieves the same speed in under 20 seconds.

The electric vehicle comes with a 26.8-kWh battery, offering a range of more than 137 miles (220 km). Utilizing a 30-kW DC charger, takes 45 minutes to charge from 20 to 80 percent, while using a 7-kilowatt AC charger requires nearly 11 hours for a full charge.
The Dacia Spring presents a compelling option in the electric vehicle market, offering two motor choices and a range of over 137 miles (220 km) with its 26.8-kWh battery. With efficient charging times of 45 minutes from 20 to 80 percent using a 30-kW DC charger and nearly 11 hours with a 7-kilowatt AC charger, the Spring proves to be a practical and accessible choice for eco-conscious drivers, further solidifying its position as a standout contender in the affordable EV segment.
