Dacia Spring, renowned as Europe's most budget-friendly electric vehicle, is undergoing significant updates to maintain its appeal and competitiveness. The revamped version, debuting on February 21, is speculated to be based on the Kwid hatchback, transitioning into an all-electric model.
Dacia currently offers the Spring EV in various global markets, and the forthcoming facelift promises significant upgrades in both features and aesthetics. Inspired by the design cues of the latest Duster model, the updated Spring EV showcases a redesigned grille, angular headlights, larger wheels, and increased ground clearance, enhancing its SUV-like characteristics.

The interior of the updated Dacia Spring EV will feature refreshed steering wheel and dashboard designs, incorporating elements from other Dacia-Renault models. Additionally, enhancements to the motor and battery are expected, aiming to improve performance and range. However, specific details regarding these upgrades have yet to be officially confirmed by the company.
The existing Dacia Spring EV utilizes a 26.8 kWh battery pack, offering a commendable range of 230 km on a full charge. It is powered by a single electric motor and supports fast charging of up to 30 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 0 to 80 percent in less than an hour.
