A new concept called Vision Neue Klasse X will be unveiled at the 2024 BMW Group Annual Press Conference, providing a glimpse into the brand's electrified future. The German carmaker posted a teaser photograph to social media that showed off a simple cabin style reminiscent of the Vision Neue Klasse sedan from the previous year.
The existing iX3 will be replaced by the Vision Neue Klasse X concept SUV, which is anticipated to include five seats. Its highest model is anticipated to provide close to 600 horsepower. It will go up against a lineup that includes the next-generation i3 sedan, which debuted as the Neue Klasse concept at the Munich Motor Show.
The dashboard of the Vision Neue Klasse X concept SUV is displayed in the first teaser. The BMW Panoramic Vision head-up display and unique center console are features of the cabin. It has ultra-thin temperature vents, an orange-white color scheme, and a revised steering wheel.
The concept SUV will use the Neue Klasse platform instead of the current CLAR foundation. It will be identical to the sedan debuting at the September 2023 IAA Mobility show.

A cylindrical cell, liquid-cooled sixth-generation lithium-ion battery will power the Neue Klasse architecture. With an 800V electric design, charging will be completed 30% faster. New electric motors designed for the platform can result in up to a 25% boost in efficiency.
Beginning in 2025, the manufacture of the competitor Porsche Macan Electric and Audi Q6 E-Tron will take place in Debrecen, Hungary. New Klasse models are also anticipated to be produced in BMW's plants in Munich, Germany, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and Mexico starting in 2026 and 2027.
