After teasing the sound of its new V8 engine, Bentley has revealed the latest versions of its iconic Continental lineup, introducing the new Continental GT and GTC. These models have significantly evolved from their predecessors and are built on the MSB platform, positioning them as fourth-generation models despite the continuity.

The new Continental GT maintains its classic appearance but incorporates modern elements, such as unique oval headlights with eyelash-style LED DRLs inspired by the Bentley Batur. The diamond-patterned headlights match the grille, which features a prominent radar dome for ADAS and diamond mesh. The profile is accentuated by a wide, long hood.
Inside, the new Bentley Continental GT boasts premium finishes such as piano black and chrome surfaces, along with the iconic triple-rotating center panel. New features include integrated apps like Spotify, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and an ADAS package. It is a 2+2 seater with 'Speed' variant embroidery on the seats. Customization options for trim materials include bright colors like green and orange.

The most significant update in the new Continental GT is the switch to a plug-in hybrid V8, replacing the long-standing W12 engine. The 4.0-litre V8 generates approximately 600 hp and 800 Nm, with an integrated electric motor contributing around 190 hp and 450 Nm. This leads to a combined output of 782 hp, which is 100 hp more than the W12. Torque increases to 1,000 Nm, managed by active torque vectoring and an 8-speed automatic gearbox via the axle brakes and center differential.

With a top speed of 335 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds, the new Continental GT delivers supercar-level performance. It also includes a pure EV mode capable of reaching speeds up to 160 km/h with an 80 km electric range. Braking is managed by substantial 380 mm rear and 420 mm front discs, supported by twin-valve dampers and air springs.
Bentley has yet to announce the debut date for the new Continental GT and GTC models in the UAE.
