The Premium Platform Electric, created in association with Porsche, will be utilized by the A6 E-Tron. It will go on sale as a sedan and a wagon. In the past, this PPE hardware supported the Macan and Q6 e-tron.
The A6 e-tron is anticipated to have dual motor all-wheel drive, a new E3 1.2 electronic architecture, and a 100kWh battery pack with a range of about 600 km. It is very similar to the Q6 e-tron concept in terms of design. It will have curved screens and cutting-edge lighting technology.
The upcoming next-generation Q5 and A5, scheduled for release in late 2024, will be the last Audi models based on Volkswagen's MLB architecture. They will come with electrified combustion engines, most likely in plug-in hybrid form.

Audi has not mentioned anything about the A4, which is being discontinued. Instead, the company plans to introduce the next-generation Q5 SUV and A5 series in the latter half of this year. These vehicles will use the Premium Platform Combustion, the VW Group's MLB architecture evolution.
Numerous modifications in terms of design are anticipated, setting them apart from earlier generations. They will however continue to use Audi's recognizable styling elements. Additionally, since Audi is moving toward an all-electric lineup, its interiors might incorporate design cues from the most recent electric vehicles.
Audi's announcement of the upcoming A6 e-tron, A5, and Q5 models heralds an exciting lineup refresh for the brand. With the promise of next-generation technology and design enhancements, Audi continues to position itself as a leader in the automotive industry. The anticipated unveiling of these models will generate excitement among enthusiasts and consumers alike, as Audi reaffirms its commitment to innovation and excellence in its product offerings.
