The all-new RS5 Avant marks Audi Sport's move toward electrification. The current V6-powered RS4 will be replaced by the first plug-in hybrid model, named the RS4 e-tron, set for a 2026 launch.
The RS5 sports a bold new look with strong bumpers, a large diamond grille, and wide air intakes. It also features sporty multi-spoke wheels, flared arches, and a vertical air vent for better aerodynamics. At the back, two central exhaust tips complete the design.

The upcoming RS5 Avant will feature an electric motor paired with its 2.9-litre V6 engine, boosting power beyond the current 450 hp and 600 Nm. It will use a modified version of the Volkswagen Group’s MLB platform, designed to fit a larger 14.4 kWh battery for plug-in hybrids. This updated MLB platform in recent Audi models supports a new 48V electric architecture.
The RS5 Avant will rival the Mercedes-AMG C 63, which now offers a powerful plug-in hybrid setup delivering 680 hp and 1,020 Nm. Launch details for the RS5 lineup in the UAE are yet to be confirmed.
